In Vajrayana Tantrism mantras are the substratum of all kinds of tantrik yoga sadhana. Deity yoga is none other than mantra yoga. Mantras are said to be deities itself. Generally mantra is considered as a sutra in which potential of a deity is hidden. Mantras are arrangements of specific syllables which form a body of a sound and considered to be indescribable. Some mantras are of the nature of statements in which some secret meanings are hidden while some are meaningless and are only sound-forms. For example- Om mani padme hum the most popular mantra is an statement, which says that there is an union in between mani+padma i.e. vajra and padma. While mantra like - Om ah hum is only sound-form, having no meaning to be known through reasoning, though it has secret meaning which could be known only through the mantra sadhana.

Yoga For People Who Don't Do Yoga!
...and the ability to walk into the adjacent National Park. I was relieved to see that, even if I did not like the yoga, I could relax and unwind in this delightful environment. The other wonderful thing was my fellow participants my fears about being surrounded by young fitness freaks were unfounded. Everyone was warm, friendly and perfectly normal so I breathed a huge sigh of relief.
The next day our first yoga session was scheduled for 8am before breakfast it is better to do yoga on an empty stomach! Out teacher, Jennifer was delightful and quickly put us at our ease. Yoga is not a competitive sport, never mind what anyone else is doing or how far they are bending, just pay attention to your own body and only bend, stretch or twist as far as is comfortable.
